3:21 am - Where In the World Is Carmen Sandiego?: The Carmen Sandiego Story

Author: aimmyarrowshigh
Fandom: Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego
Story Title: "The Carmen Sandiego Story"
Characters/Relationships: Carmen Sandiego, The Chief, Ivy, Zackary, many characters with terrible puns for names.
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: None? Some violence, I guess, and thievery. Unfinished, probably-permanent hiatus.
Wordcount: 11,845
Disclaimer: I don't own anything. All characters, settings, and proprietary language are owned by the author of the work from which this is derived.
Notes: I wrote this in college for a screenwriting course. My external ate the completed draft when it died, so... this is the first 42 minutes of a movie about Carmen Sandiego?

ReBoot: The Definitive Mainframe Edition is now available for Advanced Order!

From the Shout! Factory Store:

This 9-DVD set features the complete series as well as more bonus features than your CPU can process! Plus, pre-order with us and receive a limited-edition 3D lenticular postcard only available here as our free gift to you! You can see an image of it below, but of course it doesn't do the 3D much justice. You really have to see it in person to get the full effect... and trust us, it looks fantastic!

Limited-Edition ReBoot 3D Lenticular Card

For our Canadian customers, we're offering a special shipping rate of $9.99, but due to a glitch in our mainframe (blame Megabyte) it only applies if your order contains only ReBoot and only one copy per order. Of course, you can place as many orders as you'd like!

Welcome to Mainframe. Home to Guardian Bob, formatted to mend and defend. Join the fast-paced action and adventure as Bob and his friends — Dot, her brother Enzo and his trusty dog Frisket — fend off attacks from the viruses known as Megabyte and Hexadecimal in their relentless pursuit of chaos and the destruction of Mainframe.

Known as the very first completely computer-animated half-hour TV series, ReBoot debuted in the United States on ABC’s Saturday-morning block in 1994 and has captured the hearts and imaginations of kids and gamers ever since!

Bonus Features:
  • 20-page booklet
  • Fast Forward: The Making of ReBoot

2:52 am - Vote or not, I hope you like the image my mom made.

Coolest thing is the link to Chuck's (estate's) website. I browsed there looking at some of the classic images. Man. Cartoons were so great.

hello lj universe,
i have these cool warner bros. looney tunes bookends up for ebay auction, just click them if you'd like to look!

i'm also wondering if there are any GARBAGE PAIL KIDS fans present tonight? i've still got a lot of organizing to do, but i have HUNDREDS of cards, and i know for a fact that there's at least ONE COMPLETE SET in there, because i put them all in order when i was much younger, and completed the whole series -- two of each picture, but different names under "a" or "b" -- at least once. as for doubles... who knows. my grandmother owned a candy store!

of course i'll catalog everything and let anyone who's interested know exactly what's here, this is just to show you i mean business. ;)

comment or email me!

1:54 am - ReBoot Revival Website OPEN!

I come from the Net.

Through systems, peoples, and cities, to this place: ReBootRevival.com.

My format: Guardian. To mend and defend.

To defend my new-found friends.

Their hopes and dreams.

To defend them from their enemies.

They say the future of ReBoot is uncertain, and the fans have given up hope.

No one knows for sure, but I intend to find out.

Site's open. Read, learn and enjoy! :D

We'll bring ReBoot back, no matter how hard it may seem, if we work together we can do it!

3:40 pm - The ReBoot Artbook to premiere at NY Comic-Con!

The ReBoot Artbook to premiere at NY Comic-Con!

Out in the entrance lobby, the art book will be exhibited in a glass showcase.

Inside the main floor, Arcana Studios will be selling the book at Booth #759. Go over to the artist alley in the galleria, and Jim Su will be selling the book at #A344, as well as ReBoot posters, and his own comic book Crozonia.

He'll be happy to chat about ReBoot, Crozonia, (anything really!) and do free sketches.

I will be attending this convention, to hand out flyers about the Revival, and to meet up with Jim Su.

If you are within the NY area, you can find out more information, as well as buy tickets at the NY Comic-Con Website.

3:41 am - Donations for The Revival of Reboot

I need some donations so that I can pay for the cost of buying ad space on various webcomics (like Bob&George, VG Cats, etc).
I'm pretty sure that this will draw in the crowd of people we really need.

It's via PayPal, so everything is secure. You can donate however much or little you wish.

I'm sure you might be asking "What's our goal?", well the only amount I'm certain about is that it will cost $20 to have an ad on Bob&George.com, for a month. The other sites I'm not sure about ATM. However I will be looking into the various other sites and their pricing!

One of my favorite shows is Street Sharks. I was just wondering if any of you guys knew anything about the creator of street Sharks. I'm bored and curious about the man behind street sharks lol.
